@inktoxicant Regarding, "Give them this win," They might win... but not with my help. I'm not enabling their corruption and actually think the world would be better long term if trump wins. Not because of 2020-2024 which is going to suck regardless of who is president, but because of 2024. The country is going to blame the next 4 years on whoever is in office. I'd prefer they blame trump and the "right" and not biden and the "left." Trump was a response to failed corrupt dems. Joe "nothing will fundamentally change" in a world that desperately needs change is a recipe for disaster and trump 2.0 in 2024. But whatever. I don't vote for evil so don't worry, I won't vote for trump even if I think he might be the lesser evil long term.

@sirtheodorefranciswindsor Regarding, "owl guy." I'm not trying to take sides but it might be TDS there is a lot of that going around. And don't get me wrong trump is terrible but he also has a way of making some people's brains melt.

@s.solomon6534 Regarding, "Supporting free speech when you don't agree is when it really matters, tho!" I support and love free speech but that wasn't what I was talking about. I was talking about respect and that is earned while free speech is not. Regarding, "the country blaming whoever is in office for the misery that will be unavoidable in the next four years, couldn't agree more!" Yeah, the next 4 years are going to suck. A depression seems unavoidable, especially with our government.

Regarding, "I wouldn’t be worrying about 2024 and beyond" I am confident the world is still going to be here in 2024 even if it is going to suck. Regarding, "climate change" Yeah. If it makes you feel any better I'm not sure we deserve to persist as a species.

But Trump winning in 2016 did give progressives a chance at the WH in 2020. If hillary won in 2016 there would have been 0 percent chance of such a thing happening. Regarding, "I’m just saying how long can we keep fantasizing that Trump is going to inadvertently bring on a revolution?" I'm not a trump supporter and I have zero fantasies that include trump. I'd bang his daughter thought, much like trump would. Regarding, "we are right on the precipice of a progressive cascade" I don't share your optimism. I wish I did.
