@JEW_UNIT I too was duped into voting for Obama. The biggest lesson I learned from that is to follow the money more closely and I'm going to be supporting any candidate I think is selling out to fund their campaign the way he did.

I was just looking at it last night. 2 of the 6 "issues" she does talk about she is epic terrible at as well. End the corruption and whatever the headline about war was. Warren will take dirty money if she makes the general and Warren is one of the absolute worst when it comes to the MIC. She reeks of controlled opposition.

I'm saying it's better and gave you every important way to judge a health care system and a universal system like Canada has is superior to the US system in every way. Regarding, "I have seen the way the US gov't runs stuff around here, why would I want the Government to run the health system too?" Government run health care in the US, while being grossly mismanaged is still rated far better than the private health care industry and it's not even close. If you want to sit here and trash what we are talking about I'd like to hear your thoughts on the US system? Because if you have issues with universal health care systems I can only think you would conclude the US system is dumpster fire assuming you are objective, which I suspect you are not.

And do yourself a favor and trying to figure out if anything in my original point is incorrect. I'm almost glad he's in at the moment for the reasons I actually wanted Hillary to run... he sucks up all the establishment money and support while having no chance of winning. I fear him far less than the next generation of establishment candidates.

Sanders priorities include health care, education, a living wage, criminal justice reform and more. All are problems that disproportionately affect blacks. All are tangible ways to improve the lives of blacks.

If you are a black who wants an education Sanders has a plan for it. If you are a black who is making minimum wage Sanders offers you a living wage. If you are a black without health insurance Sanders has a plan for you. Just because those plans also help other demographics is a pretty piss poor selfish ass reason to dismiss them. I mentioned criminal justice reform. That includes something like legalizing weed which again, disproportionately affects blacks even thou they use at a slightly lower rate than white. Regarding, "we need full reparations that’s the only tangible for blacks" It's not the only tangible for blacks. You seem to think that they only way something can help blacks is if it only helps blacks. It doesn't work like that. And even if Sanders came out today in support of reparations I see no possibility of it happening because of our house and senate. You are throwing the baby out with the bath water. Regarding, "it keeps the wealth gap the same" When you address problems that disproportionately affect the black community you do close the wealth gap even if you aren't closing it completely. As for the rest of your stuff... man there is a lot that is wrong with it. Forgive me for not addressing it all in it's entirety.

It's like you have no understanding of what the words proportionate and disproportionate mean and how they affect statistics and the concepts you are trying to use and dismiss. Let me try to explain this with a hypothetical situation and random numbers pulled from my butt. There are 4 people, three are white, one is black. One white has 100 bucks. The other 3 (2 whites and one black) have 10 bucks each. Clearly the whites have more and the income inequality gap is large because of the one white guy with lots more than the others. Let's say we then gave the 3 at the bottom 20 bucks each. Has the income inequality gap gone up or down between the races? The correct answer is that it's gone down even thou TWICE as much money went to whites than did to blacks in this hypothetical. It hasn't solved the income inequality gap but it has reduced it because of how proportionate the problem was to begin with and it disproportionately affected blacks. Now go again and reread everything I've talked about. Understand that, again, all of the problems I've mentioned DISPROPORTIONATELY affect blacks. They stand the most to gain based on proportions if these problems are solved even if they don't eliminated the income inequality gap entirely. This is not debatable because math. Regarding, "So if the bottom of the stats get the same treatment as the top nothing actually ever changes." We aren't treating the top and the bottom the same with the policies I've mentioned. The guy with 100 doesn't get more, if anything they actually stand to LOSE money in the form of taxes to pay for the money going to the people who are on the bottom. The rich already have health care, education, a living wage, and don't have to worry about going to jail for drug possession while the poor don't have those things. If we give those things to the poor we make a better, more fair world even if we don't succeed in making it perfect.

@keithmcgaffie9963 And here is the math proof. Three white guys start with 120 total (100+10+10). 40 is the average. One black guy averaging 10. The wealth gap is 30. After we give the guys on the bottom health care, otherwise known as 20 bucks each, the whites now total 160. Divide that by 3 they average 53.33. The one black averages 30. The wealth gap went from 30 to 23.33 and that doesn't figure in the taxes the rich guy had to pay causing his wealth to go down.

It would disproportionately help blacks who currently go without health insurance more than whites. This system is paid for by more whites. Stop acting like their lives wouldn't be improved because of it. They obviously would. Universal systems are cheaper. Canada pays HALF as much per person for their universal system. You know what, I can't debate this anymore. You can't stay on topic at all and address the specific points I'm making and it's hard to try and address you while you are all over the place instead.
