  2. While you have a point he was addressing this guy specifically and not someone who is disadvantaged by the system. This is a cop and the system is designed to protect him so he has no reason to take the deal if he did something wrong. Shit he barely has reason to take the deal KNOWING he did something wrong.

Good people in policing are rare as fuck because 1) good people are not attracted to the job while douchebags are 2) training is generally shit 3) good people go bad or get the fuck out because they are surrounded by scum. But yeah... there are some but they are hardly representative of the field at large.

  8. Generally I believe in fairness and in everyone being treated equally under the law. But you know what... fuck that. I think that cops who break the law should be punished more severely when they break the law because of what their job is. Like twice the penalty. Then again this doesn't really do shit unless cops start being held accountable at all.
