Alienated while not waiting til getting the nomination to announce a running mate is an interesting idea I think it would be a terrible one in this specific case. Let's say Sanders chose Turner, who I love and consider to be second on my own personal list of choices behind Gabbard, that mostly serves to give the establishment a new avenue to attack and smear Sanders campaign and you know damn well they would. The biggest obstacle to a Sanders presidency is the "democratic" primary and we would be wise to give them as little ammo as possible to prevent him from winning it.

I am not an expert on her nor do I pretend to be but when I listen to her I have little trouble understanding where she stands on the topics she talks about. As for your obsession with her being either a social democrat or a democratic socialist you need to understand that the people who even understand the difference between the 2 is practically nonexistent in this uninformed country and, again, should be focusing on individual policy positions rather than trying to put a person in a box with a label on it. Sanders lost the south in 2016 in large part because they were put early on the schedule before Sanders had more name recognition and while Hillary was effectively portrayed as inevitable by the corporate media. I agree that they are predictable and will attack non stop. That is why I think it is important to give them as few things as possible for them to try and use including a running mate which is a yuuuuge avenue for attack. As for who the establishment's chosen one is it seems the early favorites are Biden, Booker, and Harris. We will know for sure who it is when the superdelegates line up early to support someone and all the phonys of all races will get behind them. Maybe there will come a point where it would be wise for Sanders to announce his running mate early and I consider this conversation far more interesting and constructive at this point then who it should be but think that point is still a long way off. I would like to add that I hope Sanders uses a single question to determine who to pick as his running mate... Who is the person best suited to take over as president should the unthinkable happen?... and that he doesn't use something like what is between a person's legs or what color their skin is to make that decision for political reasons.

Full time workers can cost them more (per hour of labor) because they are often required to give them benefits they don't have to give part time employees... like health insurance for example.
