To "defend" Pete I will say that there isn't a good answer Pete could have given about that stat. There just isn't a way to spin that. Ultimately it's his fault that the tiny bit of record he has is atrocious. Bernie or bust.

Vote Sanders and save yourself from the political theater.

@aikenodubitan5256 Regarding, "take responsibility for the stats" How? You can only do this by explaining it. Firing my black police chief for people who are racist was a bad idea, my bad, is essentially saying you've dropped out. I guess my point is that it was a piledriver of a question. No idea how that happened on corporate media.

@DualTasticToday Not all wars are equal. There was actually good reason to think that the person who attacked us on 9-11, bin laden, was in afganistan. Bernie isn't perfect but ultimately I have more reason to trust he won't get us into war we don't need to be in even more than Tulsi. And he actually has a chance at winning the nomination.
2
He is a racist. His tiny record includes gentrification and firing his black police chief for TERRIBLE reasons.
2
More importantly; one is good and one is evil.

Regarding, "NO MORE WAR!" You are supporting the candidate who went to serve a terrible war personally over the candidate who actually has a chance of winning and was saying that war was wrong.
1
@DualTasticToday Regarding, "I like Bernie." I get that but ultimately care most about your VOTE. Regarding, "Did you read my post?" Yeah. The part where you lose me is at, "I'm voting for Tulsi unless..." Bernie is better. I gave a perfectly logically reason why that should resonate with someone also saying, "NO MORE WAR." You support a candidate who WENT TO WAR PERSONALLY while Sanders was saying no to that war. Maybe support him. Regarding, "there must be a reason they disliked Tulsi even more." Corporate media says mean things about Trump. That isn't logical reason to think a person is good. This "metric" is nonsense.
1
I mean shesh… you claim to care about a "CONTESTED CONVENTION" but are supporting a candidate and campaign that is making that contested convention more likely. When if you actually cared about it you and tulsi should just be getting behind Bernie and pushing instead of splitting the progressive vote and making it less likely Bernie wins on the first nomination. You aren't taking people that would be voting for biden or Buttigieg.
1
@DualTasticToday Regarding, "she would give them to Bernie." That's not how voting works. You don't get to just give your delegates to another candidate. Sanders wins this by getting the magic number of delegates on the first ballot all by himself. That's the reality and you and tulsi are hurting that cause. If it goes to a contested convention where pledged delegates do get to cross lines... well, then we have already lost and Bernie will CERTAINLY be screwed out of the nomination.
1
@DualTasticToday Regarding, "You don't know who would vote for her you are just guessing" No. I'm not just guessing. Polls when done correctly are straight up science. Even manipulation doesn't explain her lack of support nationwide. People didn't not go out and caucus for her in Iowa by accident and I knew it ahead of time without "guessing."
1
@DualTasticToday Regarding, "So if no one gets the magic number they all just go home then?" No. Then the establishment uses all their dirty tricks, party insiders, and get their way. Regarding, "Maybe Bernie should make alliances now." Or better yet... win on the first ballot. Or are you intentionally trying to make sure he doesn't? It's Bernie versus the world already... which side are you really on?
1
@DualTasticToday And by "it's Bernie versus the world" I actually mean it's US versus the world. You can be on the right side right now. Why aren't you?
1
Nah... he's just a tool to try and siphon votes from Sanders and always was.
1
@CJonesApple I already told you why he was running. He's just another way to try and keep Sanders from winning on the first ballot.
1
@CJonesApple Regarding, "So effectively a spoiler?" Yeah. Candidates don't operate in a vacuum. There is a reason Biden didn't run in 2016 and it had nothing to do with the death of his kid. It had everything to do with not splitting the establishment vote. If he ran Sanders likely ends with the most pledged delegates at the end of 2016. Regarding, "he's not fake" Agree to disagree. At best he is a useful idiot for the establishment who splits the progressive vote to the benefit of the establishment.
1
@LonerWeirdo Regarding, "I do believe he's sincere, believes what he says. Which is a hell of a lot more than I can say about most politicians" Most politicians have a record that they have to contend with. Yang get to say literally anything when most politicians have records that prove they are lying. Oh and still he is a proven liar. Like when he runs ads saying he supports M4A and when he releases his actual health care plan it's nothing close to M4A.
1
Regarding, "Bernie should dye his hair." Um... no.
1
@justtubingby129 His whole brand is authenticity. Everything about him hasn't changed for decades... even his hair.
1
@justtubingby129 Let's not mess with that. Trust me.
1
Even yang's supporters know he has no chance in 2020.
1
@brucelee8926 You only have one primary vote. Bernie is the one who deserves it and he is the only one of the two with a chance at the nomination.
1
Sorry not sorry if the truth hurts and Sanders did well.
