Except it was not unethical in any way shape or form. The person being recorded is a PUBLIC official talking about things directly related to the government that should already be on the record and public knowledge. I don't think what Tilleman did was illegal (although I can't say for certain), but even if it was it absolutely was not unethical to me.

If they don't it is because they want to "have their cake and eat it to." They would get to pretend to be progressive while burying progressive issues. Ok. It's been too long. I have given them a chance to put this on the main channel and they haven't. The only logical conclusion I can draw from this is that they are intentionally burying this story. I gotta think someone looks at these comments. The person who pointed out that it was the DCCC and not the DCC got his wish and they changed the title. But not the people who insist this needs more coverage. Fuck them. I know people say this shit all the time but I unsubscribing from this channel and the main. If I want news with an agenda there is everywhere else.

I unsubscribed to both channels. Only by accident did I see this story on the main channel. I don't understand what the delay was but I am happy they did put it on the main channel.

I'm still subscribed, for now, but don't watch them like I watch some others. I tend to only watch their coverage these days if there is a specific topic I'm interested in. I don't recall significant Russia rage from them but that might only be because of how little I watch.

I have noticed that too and that is why, for the moment, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. But let's just say, hypothetically, this doesn't air on the main channel. Do you think that is ok? Why do you think they would put this on the channel that has 164K subscribers but not the channel that has 3.8 million subscribers? Do you think they don't think the audience of the main channel would find this interesting or relevant? Because to me, the only reason they might choose to not put it there is to bury it.

I unsubscribed to both channels and only by accident did I stumble on this story on the main channel. I like to think it was because they missed my subscriptions. Whatever. I'm glad they did the right thing ultimately even if it took them longer than it should have.

NextTurn I still have issues with their coverage at times and disagree with some things they do. But it isn't reasonable for me to expect to agree with everything they do. This story is important. This is good coverage. This hardly pushes the establishment agenda. And ultimately they are not burying it only on this channel so ultimately this is not the right to be criticizing them. Save it for when they are fucking up and this isn't it. Like I said this story is really fucking important in my opinion and I'm happy they are doing it.

I'm going to have to disagree with you a bit about "russia gate" being total bullshit. Don't get me wrong I think that their influence was being wildly overblown and think it wasn't contextualized as well as it should have been at times, but I do think that they fucked with the elections to a certain degree. I do not think it is at all unreasonable to think they did the same shit Hillary Clinton's "correct the record" did. That said I concede that there were many claims that were wildly overblown but at the same time I think the people complaining about "russiagate" are also wildly overblowing shit as well. For example I never heard anyone calling for war with Russia but very often that is the impression people complaining about russiagate would essentially claim they were doing. I guess what I'm saying is that I personally think there was something to be covered but it did not deserve the amount of attention it was given by both sides. And for the people complaining about russiagate I wish they would have spent more of their efforts pointing out that even if russia did what was being claimed the US does the exact same shit which is again another reason why it isn't unreasonable to think russia did the same shit.

I feel that this is the case because of the latest evidence, because of Trump ties to russia, and because of Trump derangement syndrome. And don't get me wrong... I love Trump bashing. Fuck that guy. Regarding, "latest evidence." I concede that the word "evidence" might not be the correct word but I am referring to, for example, CIA reports that russia interfered with the election. Now, don't get me wrong, it is wrong to blindly accept their assertions as fact (I certainly don't, I question them, and I think they are lying) but it would be equally wrong to act as if those assertions aren't being made by the United States spy agency when they are. Just dismissing this shit as if it isn't happening is wrong. Unfortunately you do need to point out the lack of evidence of their claims. Regarding, "no has seen a court room" If I required people being tried in court for me to need to think there is wrongdoing then I would think Wall Street doesnt commit crime. No one "seeing a court room" proves nothing to me.

The only problem the establishment has with him is that he puts an ugly face on their policies. They only wish he were better at hiding his corruption. It was done to give cover to Hillary Clinton. It was done so that her loss could be excused and therefor there would be no reason to change anything. It was to make the case that the election wasn't her fault, it was russias. Therefor we can all go back to the status quo. If they acknowledged the fact that it was Hillary's fault then that would necessitate the need for change.

I am skeptical about the outlets I trust. And to a certain degree I wish I were able to absorb more information even from outlets I don't trust just so that I can be informed to the bullshit they peddle. That said, for example, I have completely boycotted corporate media because I just can't take it. You are correct that the establishment has lots of money and lots of weapons at their disposal. I often refer to them as "the machine" because I think it apt to their power and influence. I too appreciate the conversation. Take care.

I prioritize supporting progressives above "putting the democratic party in their place." As such I will continue to support the handful of progressives running inside the "democratic" party. I will also continue to oppose corporate dems. Supporting progressives is what is important. I will do that whenever and whereever I can even in the dumpster fire know as the "democratic" party.
