Too bad all the other elections don't get the attention the Presidential election does. Regarding, "ranked choice voting" I'd love ranked choice voting. Hopefully it passes in Maine where they have a referendum on it and it becomes a model for the rest of the country to follow. We need it. Overnight the BS argument of voting for the lesser of two evils could be done away with. I'm so tired of getting told by democrats and republicans I'm wasting my vote while they vote for dogshit. But not only that but ranked choice voting would lead to significantly more civil dialog. Our country is terribly polarized at the moment in part because of the system. Politicians currently have incentive to lash out and attack anyone and everyone that doesn't support them. If we have RCV our dialog as a country would be more civil because there would be incentive for politicians to reach out to people of differing ideologies. They might not be your first choice but they will not want to alienate people in hopes of being their second choice. Of course the major parties don't want it thou. They are all too happy to use the "vote for the lesser of two evils" BS or "wasted vote" argument to try and scare people into voting for their inferior candidates.
