Energy/heat and carbon are two different things, when we add 636 kilowatts of energy for every 60 litre tank of diesel then we are adding some energy to basically a closed system, 99.9997% of the atmosphere's mass is within 100klm's, that we pump all this stored energy as heat into.
In a sq metre of air there's 25 trillion trillion molecules, for every million sized molecule we are adding 2.5 particles every year and there's 100,000 sq metres between you and space, for every one of these molecules of CO2 we release, it joins to two oxygen molecules trapping any radiant heat while sunlight can pass through it because the wavelengths are different, going to 500ppm, a 25% increase would most definitely be the recipe for runaway warming.
We are currently warming faster than 8.5 pathway, there has been a 175% jump in global decadal warming since 2010, I think Sabine meant "Like Venus" but the mass extinction time you are talking about, 96% of all species went extinct, something we should concern ourselves with now because that time it took the earth ten million years to recover.
I looked at that and the amount of lava that was around and it took 900,000 years. I calculated the amount of sulphur it admitted, it equalled 2400 years..as I say, ten million years!!

A lot of people who are not blamed for global warming I think still hold responsibility. A lot of people think city folk are more to blame but this isn't always the case. I had a conversation with somebody who believed living off grid was better environmentally, he used a cord of wood over winter, he believed that the co2 was neutral and while it's not, he was ignoring the energy. His one cord of wood has 25 million btu's which converts to 7326.78kwh which is around 2.5 years of my electrical usage. A lot of people burn wood, dung or charcoal in the third world so they are putting huge amounts of energy into the system.
The person living off grid also drove further and with one tank of diesel having 636kilowatts of energy in it and I walk to the shop, his living off grid was immensely more polluting then myself living in the city.
If there is a supply shock it is going to be a supply shock that will mean the first world will suffer more, in 80 years Africa will be almost half the world population, soon they may see dollars as worthless and food won't be exported. The supply shock and the debt that will become worthless could mean much more change for first world people who think money can buy their way out. If people in the country have food, I don't think they will feel poor, of course not all third world or farmers are going to be able to survive in parts of the world, maybe poverty level is a better way to put it. @DrVictorVasconcelos

All influence is evolution, and people are products of their environment, but weak, is a subjective term because what you are saying is, hard is what should be normal and what people should go back too, where it could be creating brain damage, cell breakdown, organ failure, more car accidents after work, more abuse between families, more crime, you can't say just because of what you did as a kid as anything to do with anything moving forward, without commenting on what air conditioning has meant.
Should elderly people/over weight, actually all people heat stress themselves? I would say so but airconditioning has meant comfortable lives and raised the general well being for millions of lives and considering electricity is 20% of our energy consumption the easiest thing to do to solve global warming is for everybody to go home, turn on the air conditioning and stay there, it would quite literally be the easiest and the best thing we could do @nigelliam153
