  1. Net Zero is the equivalent of 240 tanks of diesel used over a lifetime with 0 other carbon emissions. An average person born in 1950 is supposed to emit 350 tonnes of carbon over a lifetime, the plan for a baby born in 2020 is 34 tonne. How seriously are people taking this, with their actions today? add, 350 tonnes is about 23 years of an AU/US person emissions per capita so that total would have to be stretched over a lifetime and then reduced 90%.

If anybody has a solution for this other than degrowth, I'd love to hear it but how many people are ready to live with 90% less?
