Just had a friend tell me that JW are the closest religion to god/truth and had somebody else say Judaism Christianity is the more fair and democratic religion and I said you only believe in christianity because of where you were born, if you were born elsewhere you would believe in Hinduism. Having religions that rely on things that were unthinkable, like blood transfusions, is open to ridicule, rightly so imo. With deaths and risen from the dead in all religions even thousands of years before the one in Buddhism, and of course Jesus, the problem is that people think it's a waste of time because it is nothing new and for thousands of years and it's never been an objective truth and that we are as ignorant as ever because of subjective beliefs. We have to admit we don't know, it could very well be that "GOD" is in everything alive, GOD could be the electrical energy that changes a cell from being a finger or a toe or a tree or a toad.

  2. Religion might not be it, it could be that anything we thought of as tradition might not be sane in a changing world.

  3. Most of what he talked about could be changed by having a health and social security system, you don't need religion to fix fentanyl or homelessness.
