The very reason to allow illegal immigration is to create demand, this is not what I would call very well. No-one can afford housing and the environment is being destroyed.

Give almost half the world an extra five dollars a day and they could double their consumption, this isn't a lot of money, but all money is debt, how will somebody who gets ten dollars a day be able to raise debt. As all money is debt, if the debt is paid back, the loan, it doesn't exist anymore, that money doesn't exist any-more. Money doesn't build up in the system and currently there is not the money for the value of the real estate. Growth, is only more money, and all money is debt so it's not less room to grow, its less debt being able to be entered into, especially for housing as its so expensive. For the Uk to not fall behind it would have to show it can now do without money and survive off the embedded energy already put into society. The thing we have to realise is we did all this for banker debt and now have nothing valuable in a real sense to show for it,

Nothing to do with carbon per se, other than adding more of it traps more heat. If you can't understand basic physics you shouldn't have an opinion on something where the last time it happened it supposedly wiped out 86% of all species, the issue is we don't know if we will be the first 10%.

Please I implore you, the biggest thing big tobacco could do to slow down the decline in sale was to create doubt, don't do big oils job as they took over the same tactics. At the very least educate people but the ranges we are looking at, and you are right plants loved it in the time of the dinosaur, but it wasn't cold and that was 66 million years ago, people are worried we are going there much much sooner and that nothing will adapt so it's more about the risk you are taking with these sort of words, just for people to believe you, are you able to be five percent wrong, because if what is said that is around the corner and already here, then I would say you should look at the data because you are steering yourself and others the wrong way.

Fairly simple physics really, nothing to do about plant food, more about the speed we will go to reach the temps we were at 66 million years ago, and adaption will be incredibly hard, sorry impossible for a lot of species.

You cannot add energy to a system without it meaning something and because there is always heat coming in it must leave again or like taxes are the heat leaving and money, the sun, is always putting energy in. If something like a layer of carbon can trap radiant heat then the ice we leave out in the open to cool us down will melt.

Material goods like fossil fuels are destroying the planet. To say a comprehensive list would depend on what you use and without knowing you no-one can give you a comprehensive list but if you drive just for fun instead of going for a walk, it would be those sort of things. It depends on your overall consumption and if you only had gold to spend, what would you spend gold on, knowing that you couldn't get anymore. 6000 products come from a barrel of oil, overcomsumption of any of these goods creates demand that wants to be slowed. If you can remove that comprehensive list from your life, you won't have much left to do other than talk and be nice to other people.

You have goods because people will take printed paper thinking it is valuable, most of your products are made over seas and if those people ever say, look we'd rather take goods instead of paper like what is happening through Brics, those motorways are going to be for horses. Your definition of very well is you just don't know how far you can fall, backed up by debt, that must return to zero.

If I can, interest applies to all money in the system, if there is not growth then new money, as all money is bank debt, can not be brought into the system, except for govt loans. Economic growth mean's more money in the system and all money can be seen as a ticket to energy that we shouldn't use, in fossil fuels. Growth in this aspect is something must cost more, that can only happen if more money is in the system and because we are a debt based society, then new debt must be entered into. Low growth equals lower consumption, which is less money available.

@narcellius I'm not actually sure what it is that you are arguing for, the country still exists and if you can't appreciate that compared to other countries and the simple beauty the Uk has that is a choice you make. You are complaining about things and I'm talking from what I call a point of white privilege, I've had a fridge going, hot and cold water plumbed in and my toiletries flushed away, my entire life, I've had clothes and a bed, a shower etc, there are people who have never had a fridge and you want to complain because your walls were pre made and they want you to walk instead of drive?

Next is your other foolish point, taxes do not pay for anything, how are you on this channel saying this? Taxes are an indication of how much money is coming in, the money must leave again. As a first generation immigrant you are complaining about things others don't around the world. Energy comes to the earth and must leave again, if radiant heat is trapped, which it is by adding stored carbon, then not hard to work out it will warm up, we leave what cools us, ice, out in the open. We can slow it down, all of this is just choice but warmer temps are happening increasing water vapour, no statistics agree with you, of course we can affect it, as we do, stopping what we do must also have an affect.

No and in no way is this true because you are assuming that everybody needed to own a camera. Next you'll say a holographic phone that uses bat guano is better because it uses just a smidgen less power. It's the production of efficiency for the masses that means no phones were really needed but meant everyone has one. Maybe you don't understand that to reach 1.5 we are supposed to cut consumption emissions in half in five years, not add another product on top, but cut overall consumption from food to holidays where you can, but the reality of accelerated global warming is supposed to be more important than any smart phone, growth in human terms, especially if we want to survive, could mean doing less.
