I had a quick look online for phones in AU and that led me to the reason they are banned is the 5g towers and huawei or the chines govt being able to turn off access to a water pump etc etc was an unacceptable risk.

@danielli9167 Did you know the amount of salt you need to get 1500mg of sodium is 2/3rds of a teaspoon of salt. I find I don't pee overnight anymore. This one surprised me, iodine in salt raise's IQ, it costs $1.36 per tonne of salt and 2 billion people don't have access to it.

@YSKWatch Can "I" prove what the media tells me through the intelligence agencies in all five eyes countries? No I am just the messenger.

@bldomain I still have no clue what you are on about, I tried to buy one, can't, oh well life goes on.

@bldomain Only one of us brought this amount of hate into it.

I was only saying to someone last year who said they were a decade away and I said then they were much further along with chip size.. With 5g supposed to be such a big part of society I can see why a foreign country having control of it all being a bad thing, shame though

@chongdi6140 You said the same thing twice. I haven't bought anything, that's the point, I can't.

@bldomain Mate, I'm sorry I have no idea nor really care too, Net Zero means somebody is going to have control, China wouldn't allow US made gear to control their infrastructure. What you are repeating is a bit too R word for me.

@s1399518 Iran nuclear program was set back by what?
1
@deepone5005 Why ask me?
1
@deepone5005 I'm from Au, don't know who you are talking about.
1
@flyrodmike It's infrastructure being able to be controlled by a foreign govt. If you think the chinese govt does not have control over companies then we would disagree. I am not agreeing nor disagreeing, I am merely the messenger.

@jeffhicks8428 Not much point owning two homes if the next 80 years means a halving of the population by 2100, same as 23 countries, due to old age.
1
@flyrodmike You understand a couple of really important towers controlled by a foreign govt, how that could be bad though right?

@George-k6o9t Where did my comment make you believe I believe them? I believe we are in a media bubble that people don't know what is on the outside and they male all their decisions based on what is given to them whitin this bubble.
1
@George-k6o9t Maybe another way to look at it is I don't believe "them" in any sense, if foreign owned 5g can turn off a water pump to a business that means it can't fulfill a contract then i believe other countries having the ability to do that would do that if they were to benefit.
1
@George-k6o9t I don't believe any of them but the fact is damage would be done by those that choose it. It is about removing that ability.
1
@George-k6o9t The Iran nuclear program got taken down by a water pump, if another country wanted to create trouble in your air conditioning or heating they could, they could switch it off in the future. A foreign country having that ability is never good in a myriad of ways.
