Or seventy five percent of 1/4 of the population have seen the lower quality chines gear come through all industries and are scared to outlay that sort of money later in life. Not everything has to be race based.

@milexiangyangli5666 That is not possible, that everything is the best quality, older people still see bridges and buildings falling down, new ones with concrete like sand coming out of walls.

Because yes, buying certain things does keep them in with the joneses, keep them being a certain way and it's not about anything else but ego. To some and I'm not American but buying american keeps america in america, as far as they are concerned. The idea of they don't have much sense, sounds ra*st, they are just like anybody, products of their environment. There are still people around who would travel by horse and cart if they though it kept jobs and manufacturing in the country, I can't blame them for that.
