  1. The presumption of innocence ensures individuals will be punished by a court, only in accordance with the law. No private company is allowed to enact or enforce a verdict before one has been brought before the court. @brendan3720 Added : And even then is a private company allowed to refuse service because of past court sentences. If a murderer got 30 years and when he comes out a private company can't say "oh because of your history, we will continue to punish you"
