Ukraine was thrown under the bus well before the last meeting of Nafo. This has been going on ten years now and nobody sane thought Ukraine was going to win. The profit was always the goal, if they did have success the return would have been massive but if Ukr lost it would still mean hundreds of billions going into the U S economy through an industry that needs to be kept busy, it's what they would have called a win win.

Also, if Ru had been more aggressive, how much easier would it have been for the western media to make people believe the lies they tell and how much easier would it have been to include all of the west armies with boots on the ground, this delay has meant more people hear the truth and ru gains more support, 500k should mean the beginning of the end which would be welcome now, even by ru's supporters.

Why? You have to remember all of these people have had military service for a year already, if we are talking as a percentage of those just between 20 and 34 it's less than 4% of those that went through training that lasted a year, it used to be two years so older guys will have more experience, there are more than 1.2 million entering military age each year and as I say they train these people already so I'd say they could double, treble this number and not blink an eye.

@davelane9366 This is the first time that I have seen the machine cause white people to fight white people over resources, every other battle I thought was over religion, race, beliefs, It's been quite eye opening and explains so much of the last couple of decades actions by usa. Maybe any other country in the same position would do the same but it certainly seems to be usa's turn to be the baddie at this moment in time.

@orzorzelski1142 With the same courage and perseverance usa thought was going to get ukraine across the line?

@tomk3732 How am i exceeding ww2 numbers, we are far from that? Nice spiel but nothing of what you said correlates to the opposite of what I said. The truth is Ukraine hasn't had military service for ten years while ru kept it. You realise this is ww2 like for ru and they will mobilise the whole country if need be, 14 million if needed are just the ages between 20 and 34, all of these people have had a years training, some two, but that doesn't mean they will automatically go to the front line, the experience they already have and will regain in the next two months will then be used as back up and they will gain m ore training on the ground. Added : The 200k that you say can't be brought back is 1.4% of the total between 20 and 34, considering military age can be 55, I would disagree completely with what you are saying as it's such a small percentage that you say can't be brought forward. There are 1.2 million entering military age in Ru each year, so 12 million men have been trained since this started ten years ago. I think you are making the western mistake of thinking Ru won't put all men into the field between the ages of 20 and 55.
