@jamesolson7179 Two different things, a full life and living within their means. Why shouldn't people have shelter, transport and be able to reproduce? You know there will always be people who didn't go to University right? You realise families can have generations of labourer's right? You know people work forty to sixty hours a week, ON MINIMUM WAGE, right? You know after they get tired, they don't have spare reserves of energy, they are working just like the rest of us, I mean come...how about this, you promise that you'll never run for office.
Then, the other view is give everybody a thousand an hour and see how much prices rise, minimum wage as a "living wage" really depends on how one lives, everybody that has gone through it has survived but that doesn't mean it isn't brutal because it was mostly affecting younger people, which was fine because it was a different demographic but now with an older demographic with a higher median age it's shifted and really unfair to say if a worker doing much needed work can't have shelter, personal transport or a family, oh look we circled around to your megalomaniac view against everybody else " " lower " " than you..

@dravguitao7265 Which should be a reason why so many would. I would not in any world pay reparations, their ancestors were in a slave master environment for thousands of years before the British and the French starting bringing the system to America, current people of African American descent are the result of something that could and would have happened in Africa at the time and to be fair if they hadn't come to America at that time 90% of African Americans wouldn't be alive, they just would not have been born, think of all the millions that have died from starvation since those times while the products of that system brought people to a country that african americans have flourished as a people, even though that's racist, because you aren't african if you are in africa, you are part of one or another country and some of those countries hate each other and are currently killing each other and have done since the earliest slave was brought to america. Now for being part of a system that America or the British didn't start, the slave trade in Africa was stopped by the British and the Franch, African slave traders were outraged saying " who are they to stop this", but they were part of an African slave trade that is going on today, that you think for being brought to a country, being able to flourish in tens of millions, be at the top of every industry, to have freedoms that mean you don't have to collect water from a lake an animal just went to the toilet in, that you think people should be paid reparations for that is just madness to me. I can't fathom the level of self centeredness that you'd think any payments from the population is somehow warranted because one group out of all those other billions of Africans got lucky, it's like you think all white people are the same and as long as they pay more then that's righteous, to me that's a very limited view.
