Considering training would be happening currently for US Abrams crew, then any other training for others could happen immediately. It is either a lie that they can't do it immediately to try and fool Russia and are training hundreds for more than the tanks they are saying they are supplying, which Russia would be able to find the information if true, or they are banking on these 30-50 tanks and the news of training just being in the news is enough to placate their constituents so they get voted back in.
