  1.  @hugoanderkivi  Moral is a tricky problem to get around. Beef and lamb are predominantly on non arable land, weather irrigated and self fertilised. Animals in general eat 14% of human edible food, the rest is grass and our food waste that is inedible to us, all the seed oils have a waste component, same as breweries, wheat stubble etc. While it's killing an animal on the other hand it's vast food deserts that are covered in synthetic fertilisers and insecticides with groundwater and on arable land that is dying as a resource.

  2.  @Jon-es-i6o  Not sure how you think humans were initailly vegetarian. They just drank milk and then buried those animals when they died? Or do you mean they ate fish? Apes aren't vegetarian, when do you mean initially?

  3.  @StimParavane  The biggest hypocrites in the world are vegetarians, will drink milk and eat eggs but totally forget what happens to the animal after.

  4.  @Jon-es-i6o  The bible is just a book, in a long line of books. What crops do you think were around 300,000 years ago, remembering that modern cropping is ten thousand years old? You believe at least that we are Homo Sapiens, yes? Vegetarians subsidise meat eaters by making meat cheaper, they are the biggest hypocrites.
