  1. If it was right then why hasn't it been right since? I was listening to this and wondering why it wasn't used in each battle since, Vietnam could have been one bomb, all the rest of the deaths since WW2 could have been avoided with four bombs. I get Russia also has the bombing capabilities but then we have 8 bombs and 8 cities demolished, the cities aren't on the respective countries, it's always Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Africa, some far off land, if we are or have been at war for resources then why is millions of deaths from 8 bombs worse than millions of deaths from what we have now. I wonder how the wives reacted to all the men that were involved, on all sides, when they saw children running down the road with clothes that had almost been burnt off them. I have never heard any public accounts of what they were saying publicly around that time, like was there public shame or anything, it's always these official recordings, it's a shame they dropped the bomb in my opinion, Japan a country with timber houses was burning from one end to the other, Germany had surrendered, if only they had waited a little more, if only they had blown up a military target even a demolished city in Germany and gave everybody warning to get out and sent the pictures to Japan, if only they could have shown to the world the energy capabilities and asked for peace with that in mind. I wonder if the cost of 8 or even 80 bombs just doesn't hold enough profit though.

  2.  @John414  What's the difference between nuclear bombs and bombs? "We" do that now, dropping bombs on civilians, that's wrong but those decisions are being made today, in your name, why aren't your actions revolved around trying to stop that? What's wrong with you?

  3. Is the alternative worse, I think America is responsible for 4-5 million deaths in the last 20 years, would it have been better to drop four bombs in that same time, Vietnam could have been over in a day?
