You want to know in a way that is unambiguously explicit and direct how June was the hottest month recorded? So, if the highest recorded has just been measured, then do all those other recorded temperatures mean anything to you? I'm all for thought provoking questions but are you saying people a hundred years ago where they recorded these temperatures, wrote them down, published them at that time and now somehow you're saying we can't read those? Are you saying that the WEF has gone back in time and changed all those written and published records for their own agenda, and quite frankly if their agenda is making money then they don't want any slow down in fossil fuels. We were supposed to reach 1.5 in 2034, then it was 7 years from about last year or so, now we'll probably see this in the next year or two.....oh no our favourite overseas holidays, how will we ever cope. SMH. It's not about people dying en-masse when it reaches 1.5, it's about that threshold being reached and not coming down for hundreds of thousands of years unless we find a way to remove it. No one is talking about stopping fossil fules tomorrow it's about putting in plans to stop the increased production and usage of it and reduction in current levels. There is 10.6kw in a litre of diesel, have a look at your power bill and see how many kw you use per day, it might be the same energy as 1 or 2 litres of diesel, that's a lot of energy going into the atmosphere and this excludes the energy that it takes to get that litre into your tank. It's a lot of energy we use, just to go for a sunday drive. Sorry if that tells you how to live but why should how people live be allowed to affect so many other people just because you still want all the choices that you had before being educated on what you are doing? It's ignorant and wanting to stay that way.

She is a debt instrument, debt is the only way new money enters the economy, she does more for pay rises and money in the economy than most people here. She should be given a medal for spending it all.

@Tank-Dempsey You want me to complain to a country, how, like do you have their address I can put into a GPS and when I get there, who identifies as these countries? Africa will be half the worlds population by 2100 with China third. Whatever changes we can implement are going to be followed by others if we can show it works but if we keep going and 5 billion poor people start consuming like we do then we, or the children and grandchildren of today are in more trouble than we currently are.

@Chunkychops514 Less people means less debt so less money, the less births there are the more immigrants so why mention birth control? Do you think we should stop availability?

@Chunkychops514 Is it or are we just doing things wrong, the biggest maintained crop is the lawn, all these fertilised and watered area's could grow crops. 23 countries are going to lose 50% of their population's by 2100 due to more people dying than being born so we'll see multi decade recessions, is that better?

@pshehan1 Water that is measured at the intake, BEFORE it goes through the engine is a more correct measurement than a bucket that is dropped to the top of the water source as the intakes of ships are lower so there was some discrepancy then but since the 90's ocean buoys measure this and we get 80% of our measurements from them.

@pshehan1 A bucket with a thermometer in it affected by evaporation, which means it has to warm before doing this, somehow cools down....Why would they take the thermometer out of the bucket of water to get a correct measurement of the water?

@pshehan1 So you think a bucket that has to warm up for evaporation to happen and in that one or two seconds it then cools down? The intake pipe where it is in contact with the ocean, underneath the ship, right at that point could have been where the sensors are how do you know the engines are warming the water as it goes past that point?. You are assuming something that might not be true. What do you mean by the last paragraph, "than raw data" what do you mean, what raw data isn't the temperatures recorded?

@pshehan1 A wet tee shirt is a completely different to a bucket of water as it's cooling down relative to your body. the tee shirt was warm because it's close to your skin and now it's not which is why it feels cooler but the water in a bucket isn't going to feel cool to anything else. Then you are thinking they are measuring just the top two mls, to think the time it takes to haul up a bucket is going to make an overall measurable temperature change I think is wrong of you to assume If they were putting a sensor in to measure the temperature of the water why would they put it beside something warm. are you more intelligent than them? What us your last paragraph about, you are mentioning something but it means nothing to the conversation, yes it's important but quite honestly I have no idea what you are saying by it.

@pshehan1 God this is just so dense. Why would the bucket have more evaporation than the ocean? For your theory to work the ocean would evaporate away, it's just so silly what you are saying. This conversation is tiresome because of what you're saying, not me, you mentioning that the ocean is 71% of the planet means absolutely nothing towards raw data and adjusted data and yet we still don't know what the raw data is.

@pshehan1 Evaporation isn't going to be increased in the bucket, to cool down the entire contents within the time it takes to raise the bucket, please stop making assumptions about so many things, if you do a quick search the bucket is timber, you are then assuming they don't cool the bucket down beforehand, don't assume they put the sensor next to the engine, I agree there have been adjusted temperatures but without being personal while your heart might be in the right place, it's you that got personal first, it's you throwing words like obtuse out, and somehow nothing of what you have said is in any way wrong to you. Let me put it this way, "Whether temperatures are measured by ocean buoys since the 90's or not, the adjustments to account for the differing methods will still result in a lower temperature rise over the last century than the raw data." The adjustements made are to account for the affect of the said bucket, the warmth of the hull, not sure why adjustements have to be made for ocean buoys but the adjustemnts don't affect the raw data, both would see the same rise or fall in temperature. Yes?
