@jibjabby9964 Yes, don't over consume. Eat properly. If every man woman child ate the daily recommended amount of meat as beef the herd size in USA would easily feed everybody, meaning the other multiple billions of animals wouldn't need to be fed/killed

@seb_5969 I would like to add the developing countries don't use animals like modern countries, they use them for transport/plowing, their poo for fire fuel and their milk for food, they don't use them for meat like developed countries as much.

You could eat what the cows were eating?

@faramund9865 If my legs are sleepy I just go with it and have a nap. All this excess running and cycling, if you cut out exercise you would dramatically lower your food intake, therefore staying home jerking it could actually be better for the planet.

@devvyas6751 The methane is measured as Co2e, meaning the effects have already been factored in. At that rate it is still 10% edit Co2 equivalent

I hate this a s a reply, palm oil smashed orangutans habitats, that's just one product to replace animal fat. How much more land would we need to replace all the products that comes from animals, I would say a fuckton more than what palm oil has taken.

@BartolomeoIrnerio As they are for other crops, 50% of people are alive today because of synthetic fertilisers, nitrogen, made with fossil fuels.

This is a diet and usage change of the existing land, deforestation still happens with "vegetable oil" or the real name palm oil or even soy for the human soy market, tofu, soy milk etc. It is a diet change for 98% of the people in most modern countries, I would say it would still need a lot of land to be cleared to fed all the people the calories plus the inedible that needs to be replaced

Those who use cow dung for fire fuel, pulling/transport power and milk for food. To minimise that you would have give them another source of heat, tractors with the corresponding fuels and different food.
