@ That really didn't answer the question. If you have food, and everybody else is at barter stage, I am sure society will change and people grow their own food. Where I am there are creeks plumbed under parks, streets etc, these will be dug up and people go back to planting. The lawn is actually the worlds largest irrigated crop they say, to grow grass, when no herbivores eat it, just to look nice. My point in the question was it is interesting to ponder, once upon a time not too long ago people would know how to make string from grass, now we don't know one grass from another or which is best for it. Just an interesting idea for people to ponder, do we start learning how to make wooden spoons or take the cbdc that can only be spent on food.
