  1. Force and violence are the same thing, it just depends which side of it you are. There has always been times when stress has caused force to be used but that doesn't mean we would be inherently violent when there is no stress.

  4. Every animal has this tool but not all are forced to use it. I think the reason we have so much of it is because as a species we are monkey see monkey do and it's just a carry on from how things used to be done, we have had people/animals challenging each other for centuries, maybe the wording, inherently violent, is what I have an issue with, that war, is caused because of something external of us, not something caused by an inside reason that is permanent.  @masonharkness6437  edit : You are saying wars are caused by something permanent in us, I think they are because of circumstances.

The older generation than you experienced such great change, for you, you've probably had a fridge running 24/7 your entire life, indoor running water, hot and cold, indoor toilet, what I call white privilege, your entire life too. People blame the boomers but fossil fuels were the thing that changed the world, the end of the 2nd wwar and fertiliser using gas to get nitrogen from air meant an extra 4-5 Billion people now that wouldn't be here. We seem to have no consideration in the zeitgeist, public thinking, of all the energy that we have used and use, there is 40kw of energy in a gallon of diesel, that nobody gives a second thought to where that energy is going, let alone the energy needed to get it into the tank. I think this is the biggest change you will see in your lifetime. Whether people agree with man made climate change or not it doesn't matter, temperatures are going to change and people believe the explanation enough that they will want action taken, like banning internal combustion engines for private use, it will be less change going from the horse to public transport than from the car to public transport and with the majority of people living in cities, it should be easier again. The biggest change you'll see, well everybody in the modern world, is an aging population, maybe it will make us more caring.

PS : Couple that to going off the gold standard in 72 and money not being tied to gold anymore constricting the supply and then being tied to debt and the debt explosion fed the use of fossil fuels, they fed off each other and are directly tied, now debt that has a forward energy use while we are told we can't use as much....something has to give, and if interest payments now take a third of income tax payments, maybe it will be the monetary system before the oil based system but both have to change, soon.

  10. As much as I like people to have freedom of religion I sure wish I could have freedom from it, people saying read the bible without offering one piece of wisdom from it are the worst. @عليمولايونعمالمولى
