I don't think you can have a true pan-European party as it will face still competition from established parties, therefore attract very little support.

@onestrangeanimal3212 Lol you really had a lot of patience with that guy. I live in central Europe and it's these kind of people who vote for Orban, PiS are strongly pro Russian and praise dictators, yet refuse to move to dictatorships. They are usually 50+ years old (the old communist generation) and time is working against them. Exactly the same people who vote for AfD in East Germany.

@fuguthefish EU is about imposition and protection of liberal democracy in its member states. It's not only an economic organization.
2
@fuguthefish They had a referendum on it. If they disagree they can leave like Britain. EU membership is voluntary.

When you join a multi-national organization, there will be time when your opinion will be in minority. Czech right to bear arms in constitution is a joke as it is restricted by laws intended to fool voters.

@PavelKahun You still do not get it. 2nd amendment in the US exists to allow people rise up against an oppressive government. 1.) It requires unrestricted gun ownership rights like in the US, not the joke Czechs got. Czech constitution doesn't guarantee you anything regarding gun ownership as it's a scam. 2.) Right for people to organize themselves. If you need to swear an oath, register yourself to some government controlled organization then you fell for yet another trick and the organization cannot fulfill it's goal ever as the organization will never put pressure on self-serving, corrupt, treacherous and oppressive government as by definition it's a mere government controlled pawn. I'm sorry I have to bring it to you but you fell for a trick by your government. It's a communist trick, let people believe they are in control when they aren't.
1
@PavelKahun Not everyone is interested in defending democracy and freedom, it's totally fine if you're one of them. Right now Czechs have a president who is a former communist and prime minister known for cooperation with communist secret service. A great strategy to build "direct" democracy I must say.

@PavelKahun As an outside observer all I can say you've been fooled again, by the same kind who ruled your country before 1989. Good luck building democracy with communists!
1
@PavelKahun Wow I really struck a nerve there! It's not just a matter of past political affiliation, but current political leanings as well. Mr. Zeman is a well known proponent of close ties to China and Russia instead of West - surely the right person to act as a guardian of democracy! Do you seriously think people who value freedom and democracy will fall for this fraud? Mr. Babis is not much better - a billionaire who made fortune in agriculture, from a family that enjoyed significant privileges in communist era. How common is it nowadays to make fortune in agriculture? Only common in corrupt 3rd world countries. And you put him into power, defend him and I'm sure you will vote for him again. Good luck building "illiberal democracy" in Hungary's footsteps. You have been fooled by communists not once but twice lmao.
1
@PavelKahun Come back to school us once you've managed to build a successful democracy instead of a kleptocracy living off EU funds!

It's great to be able to meddle in UK and US politics without them being able to meddle in ours.

@ImperialCommissarRikart Communist ideology is obsolete, the greens are smart communists as they talk about issues relevant for 21th century.

Slovaks have a sizable online community that hates west and wants to join Russia. It's up to Slovaks to prove these people are a minority.
