  1. I do not consider Switzerland a good choice. Once you reach senior level, you want options which a small country can't provide. There are only two large countries in Europe with good opportunities - Germany and UK. Ireland, Switzerland, Netherlands will also work but only temporarily.

  3. To grow professionally you need to live in a country with plenty of opportunities. Germany is definitely such a country. I would recommend to work on your self-promotion skills to stand out in interviews. It is very different when you're competing against 50 or more applicants. You would not improve your situation by moving to another EU country. Companies preferring younger workers to pay them less is a common practice everywhere. You need to make sure you're in the top 20%.

  5.  @MoDa87  Learning a language is not a problem if you're 20-30, but when you're older, you prefer to invest the time either in family life or to improve your skills.
