@RazorMouth I have applied for jobs in various EU countries in the past few months including Ireland but mostly they weren't interested in workers from other EU countries. In the end I ended up finding a job in the UK instead. My salary expectations were about €120k. Maybe I was considered too experienced and too expensive.

@RazorMouth That's exactly what I thought. But it makes no sense for me to move without having a good job offer first. After this experience I will not be considering Ireland and other EU countries again as I would be just wasting my time. No wonder the EU lags behind the US economically. There is no way it can catch up. The fact that I can ask for 120k tells I have plenty of experience. In the end I ended up getting much more in the UK.

Feel free to leave the EU and join Serbia, Bosnia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Russia, China if you feel alien in the West.
