@Elldallan even if ukraine recognize crimea they cant join nato due to war in donbass. if they give up donbass then central gov would see as weak and most of eastern ukraine would demand seperation

@Arcaryon cuz its not complex as u said. current crimea is having no conflict. ukraine is not thinking about taking it back. war in donbass is different. they cant just conquer it cuz it will provoke russia but they cant also let them left to its own device because east ukraine would collapse. its damned if you do damned if you don't situation.
