Michel Foucalt was visiting America for a conference or something and after partaking in the gay bath houses of San Francisco, decided defending the sexual revolution and other bread-and-circus nu-left bullshit was more important than agitating for economic reform.

  2.  @b-ratedideas8560  I'm not an economics expert but I've heard people like Thomas Sowell and Milton Friedman argue that monopolies can only be maintained with the aid of government intervention. In a 100% free market they would naturally get competition from other startups. The great monopolies of history like the British East India Company had government mandates guaranteeing their monopoly status.
