I'd recommend starting with his essay "An Open Letter to Open Minded Progressives" where he lays out the history of "Christian Progressive" movement in the late 19th/early 20th century, how it became secularized and morphed into the woke ideology/pseudo-religion of today and then asserts it's literally the process of political decay into mob rule; the dissolution of power and responsibility which follows a logical progression from absolute monarchy to constitutional monarchy to republicanism to universal suffrage to mob rule

AND "The Progressive Era" by Murray Rothbard which explores many of the same themes as Moldbug but from a libertarian perspective and delves into how the progressive movement in the early to mid 20th century was often an excuse to get government involved with private businesses and laid the groundwork for the crony capitalist system we have today
