They either go for the badboys or shoot for men too far above their station (think of stories about the old European aristocrats with illegitimate children from peasant girls they refused to recognize.) That's why arranged or semi-arranged marriage was a thing for most of human history. "Our neighbor's son is a blacksmith apprentice. He'll take over their family business one day. This is really the best you can do, you better marry him and treat him well otherwise you'll bring great shame to OUR family. And don't even THINK about getting involved with thst bandit or let yourself be seduced for one night of fun by the nobleman unless you want us to disown you." That's how it was. Older and wiser parents picked one or a few suitors for their daughters to choose from.

  17. I've got a friend. He's 25. Tradie, makes decent money. Into outdoor stuff like hunting and guns. Conservative politics. Seems pretty confident and assertive. Not model tier but not ugly either. I was surprised when he told me he's never had sx! I asked him why. He said he's been on a few dates with prospective gfs but he doesn't tolerate 304 behavior and walks out at the first whiff of it. Never found a gf that meets his standards.
