The parallels are hard to ignore. privilege = original sin. checking one's privilege = penance. constant apologia and excuse making for Islamic fascists = love thine enemies. communist class warfare = "easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven". the obsession with policing sex. universities turning into indoctrination centres = monasteries. general valorization of victimhood = "meek shall inherit the earth". listen and believe = "Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed." It's like they took all the lamest, most self destructive parts of Christianity and turned it into a secular ideology.

  3. ThePreciseMoment The listen and believe part is especially disturbing. "Blessed is he who has not seen yet believes" is applied to God or the supernatural. Feminists are asking us to listen to and believe women in general, alleged rape victims specifically. What is that saying? Women and specifically victimized women are so virtuous they're infallible, even divine? Something fucked up is going on with our culture.
