  1. Literally NO ONE in Estonia thinks that or wants that! This is 1995 thinking that remained in 1995. They all have an open invitation to move to Russia, but all realize Estonia is just a better off society, politically, financially and socially… for now. However, the Baltic states are far too nationalistic for their own good. They’re one vote away from full-blown fascism. They need to take a really good look at how they treating human beings.

  3.  @tuehojbjerg969  That’s because unfortunately there is some truth to it. I’m completely against ANY invasion, but at the same time, I can’t ignore that mistreating ethnic minorities, especially Russians, in the Baltics is a really major issue and yes, Russia WILL use that to their advantage. The baltic states are shooting themselves in the foot by not seeing how other Western countries behave, all treating minorities and immigrants equally to themselves. I’m not against a national language, but deporting those who don’t speak it well, denying citizenship, and denying proper employment is giving Russia legitimacy and hurting the domestic stability of these countries. What we’re seeing is extreme nationalism - fascism.

  4.  @suspervusper9251  Russian forums in Estonia are unfortunately full of subversion from Russia. Having lived in Narva, I can tell you that even there, they do want more equal status and treatment from Estonia, but they don’t want to live in Russia. Again, they have an open invitation for a Russian citizenship for many, many years.

  11. This is literally what gives Russia ethical footing in the war against Ukraine and its stance on the Baltic states. You can’t persecute minorities and then not expect repercussions.
