@mitchellwilley7208 Except it is when they want it to be. In 2014 Palestine was admitted into the UN as an observer member, which allows the ICC to treat it as a nation and in 2014 it chose to honor their claim made by the Palestinian Authority to extend their jurisdiction into Palestine, despite the fact that the UN doesn’t recognize it as a state and the fact that the PA isn’t the government of Gaza since 2006. The whole thing is an absolute circus.

@ It’s not ludicrous. It’s a fact. It is NOT solely about Israel. It is about a long and well-known history of antisemitism in Ireland. It’s also a fact that the Irish are one of the few nations that can be concretely named as perpetrators of actual genocide: on the Picts. They literally wiped off the face of the Earth, wiped their culture and language.

@ Welcome to the real world. Yes, people who defend Palestine are defending what the Nazis did. They may not even grasp that they’re doing it, but they are. Not because I want that to be true, but because it’s literally an equivalency. They simply don’t know the history or even present situation of the conflict. They’re just virtue signaling, pretending to be righteous.
