  3. The locals who are left in Eastern Ukraine are actually friendly toward Moscow, or at least tolerable. Most are Russians ethnically and have been living in a battle zone since 2014. They just want peace and prosperity at this point, and don’t care who gives it to them.

  4. Crimea won’t fall to Ukraine, sadly. Right now they can’t even advance a mile. Crimea is simply too close to Russia, which means it will be much more within strike and replenishment distance.
