@alistairjclark2433 Because driving trucks through a front and a combat zone is impossible and bringing in trucks from Egypt requires very extensive searches of trucks, so that weapons aren’t smuggled in.

@alistairjclark2433 Are you a moron? Aid agencies are saying NOT ENOUGH aid is coming, not that it isn’t coming at all. If you’re gonna troll, invent something believable!!

The issue is that Israel has to thoroughly inspect all trucks coming in and arrange for their security (you saw what happened last week). That takes a lot of manpower, planning and risk. They can only do so much a day since this is half combat zone, half terrorist camp.

Given the geography of Gaza and the conflict, the sea is the ONLY way that very large quantities of aid of all kinds can and will get into Gaza. Not only can food and supplies can be shipped in, but also trucks and fuel. If this works there is also a chance a private or military hospital ship or two can be sent to Gaza to temporarily provide medical services. However, destroying such facilities will be a goal for Hamas, and they will blame Israel for it. Security will be very difficult. Hamas does NOT want the US to come out in a good light here.

@patclark2186 You should at least graduate from high school before asking stupid questions. Who the F do you think Israeli shores belong to?

@jack7972 They’re all Sunni.

@alistairjclark2433 It IS impossible to do in large quantities during combat operations. That’s why other countries are complaining. I don’t know where you get your misinformation from, but the official statement as of March 6 is that they’re up to 150 trucks a day, which is the most they’ve been able to do during the conflict. They have never seen anything even remotely close to 500.

The security will have to fall on Israel as this is a combat zone.

@patclark2186 Yes. Mine has combat awards on it. I also have two college degrees the GI Bill helped pay for. You?

@alistairjclark2433 You are 100% trolling and spreading misinformation. Simple to verify.
