  1. You’re right Preston. This is Putin’s way to put out the message that it’s time fir Zelensky to give up on what’s lost, to admit to NATO’s shortcomings and accept a neutral stance in a peace. Putin is also using this as a pre-election PR opportunity to show himself as a righteous, merciful leader to the Russians… and a way to say, “You see? It’s not me who wants war, it’s NATO.” This is all stemming from his strong position currently on the front lines, the political situation in the US, the issues in Poland, Hungary blocking EU aid and the Middle East.
