  2.  @danielsteger8456  Challenger IIs are being upgraded to Challenger IIIs in the UK, but the British government has openly stated that only 148 are projected to be upgraded to that standard, which will constitute the entire armour force for the UK. That means the rest are to be stored as inactive or scrapped. The Leopard II versions being given are even older and more outdated. You don’t have to do a lot of research to find out these are all surplus, outdated items that the nations donating them are already in process of replacing. The AT4, Javelin, HIMARS… all in process of being replaced by more modern weapons.
