  1. Are Russians trying to say that the Russian Army engineers lack the capability to traverse rivers? They didn’t used to. Russia is FULL of rivers and defending it would always require such capabilities. So if they don’t lack it, why not drop those bridges??? If they do lack such a capability, why even bother invading Ukraine, which has endless rivers throughout and they all go North to South, so you’d have to cross them all?
