alexander1485 All of the above, just not in North America. Have you ever traveled?

Because it actually gets better combined mileage, has modern safety systems and drives like a modern car.

warcrab cyber Renault/Nissan own Mitsubishi and they are in deep financial trouble. Right now, they’re not even thinking about Mitsubishi as a brand in N. America. It makes them no money. Their CEO was recently ousted and the whole alliance is now under question.

Akshay Mahesh That’s because PHEVs can’t charge their batteries from the motors. It’s their achilles heel. Once the battery is depleted, they’re left with a weak, small engine to lug all that weight, at least in the Mitsu case. The Volvos’ issue is a bit opposite. They use supercharged/turbo engines that are high performing, but thirsty.

Jabid21 The next CUV will be a a re-badged Nissan. It’s already been announced. Mitsubishi designs will focus on Asia/Oceania variants.

alexander1485 Not even 10%, but a nice try. So considering that you’re somewhat aware of other continents’ existence, why not consider that they sell cars there too? In reality, North America is just an afterthought for Mitsubishi. They sell most of their cars in Asia, Africa and Oceania. Yes, those places actually exist, not just something you see in the movies.
