@williamyoung9401 The Marshall service is for federal crimes ONLY. This is a state court conviction.

@PhilLesh69 Neither. He is NOT in federal custody (he is a free man) and if he is sentenced to loss of freedom, he will be taken by the NYCDOC and taken to Riker’s Island, unless he receives over a year in prison, in which case the state prisons will pick him up from court.

He is not in custody. He is under protection. There’s a big difference.

@garyK.45ACP He has to be sentenced at some point, unless the governor steps in, and that isn’t likely to happen.

@alexg4462 Well no. When he’s sentenced, he will be present in the courtroom.

An individual soldier or airman is a part of a unit.

@garyK.45ACP Wow… please hand in your IQ card. There are NO Constitutional immunities in play here. All acts were conducted BEFORE Trump was ever in any office. Judge Merchan today set a sentencing date to November 26. The will decide on the motion, but the only decision is to sentence because once again, this was not an act in Presidential capacity.

@alexg4462 I doubt they will imprison him solely because it would be impractical. He would require a special facility and his Secret Service detail would still need to be there. If it was to happen, he may be told to report to prison, but he is a flight risk, so I don’t know.

@jimsackmanbusinesscoaching1344 I’m not trolling. I actually did the job (unlike you). Our deployments are often done on individual or small component basis and have been for decades. When we say “part of a unit” it means an individual or a few individuals who don’t comprise any unit on any level. Your comment didn’t add anything to the video and isn’t at all on topic and instead of recognizing that you’re calling others “a troll.” Do you a favor and stick to what you know.

Even more truth: The NYPD doesn’t transfer convicted/or accused prisoners once they are in the courts system. If it is a state court, they are transferred by the NYC Department of Correction and if it’s in federal court, then by US Marshalls. The NYCD has 7,060 uniformed officers and leans very heavily to the liberal side because they are demographically 91% minorities, in contrast to the NYPD, which is just under 60% minorities. So there’s that.
