@robertshotzberger Are you stupid or insane? Both maybe? Just because you don’t read doesn’t mean the rest of us are morons. The charges were presented and they’re very clear: NYPL 170.10. As per the statute of limitations, the courts had extended them fir 1 year and 47 days during Covid because the courts and prosecutors’ offices were closed. The court ruled on that BEFORE the trial. That brought it within the 5 year statute of limitations on felonies in New York.

Nate is clearly not an actual lawyer. If he was one, he’d know Constitutional rights don’t apply solely to citizens of the US. Even those who are not citizens may purchase and own firearms, as long as they do so lawfully. He would also know that parole is early release from prison. Moreno was never sentenced or imprisoned, so he was not on parole. He had a bench warrant issued for not showing up. Literally every lawyer knows the difference. A lawyer also knows that we have this thing called the 4th Amendment that allows us due process. To say “he broke US law, so he probably won’t be allowed back for 10 years” is a lie because he has no convictions. Unless you are convicted, you didn’t break a law. I’m not defending Moreno here at all. I’m just saying the guy who made this video is just as much of a social media clown as Moreno is.
