Anyone who thinks there are social services has never lived in Louisiana.
16
@sigontw And the result is that there is no system of services, isn’t it?

@tconyt8373 A thing can be a tragedy and still be legal. Killing in self-defense is a tragedy, but lawful. Poverty is a tragedy, but lawful. All kinds of things are.

@rleeg6744 It is a clump of cells, and yes, it’s biologically parasitic, not that you know what that means.
2
@stephaniejean2426 Well… some people.
2
No, keeping AR-15s to kill people is murder.
1
@av1204 Of course it did. Attempting to kill more.
1
Meh… the Republican’ts aren’t for caring. What does the Taliban do? They’ll subscribe to that.

1
@AmberTurdsShittyBedsheet Because they take on yours, and everyone’s. You don’t like society? Go live in Afghanistan, among your people!
1
@rleeg6744 I care what happens to actual humans. You literally don’t. You’re nit fighting for anyone’s right to survive. You’re simply fighting to put down others’ rights. It makes you feel better about yourself.
1
@AmberTurdsShittyBedsheet 😂 Of course they are! Trump’s wife AND daughter both had abortions! They just want others not to have the sane rights.
1
What law was unconstitutional?
1
Is that what you did?
1
To be fair, they’re not combating anything. The judge criticized the legislature for a poorly written law and placed a stay on it until the legislation is re-written more clearly.
1
@dark_rit The only hope is that people will actually vote out the legislators because unlike in 2020 when a majority voted to ban abortions, those opposed to it will turn out this time. In 2020 they sat at home because who cares… Roe v. Wade protects it. But now it doesn’t.
1
Which the SCOTUS is destroying, along with the 14th.
1
Why? They are now.
1
Except 1. They are some court and 2. Elected representatives are bureaucrats.
1
@TheEvilChipmunk The 14th Amendment disagrees with your opinion.
1
@Ham_Strokers_Ejacula No. It’s about religious power. The GOP are turning into the Taliban, and not even recognizing it, because their religion has a different name. AKs for everyone, religion dictating schools, and women subdued.
1
@kevindavis5966 It doesn’t matter whom she works for.
1
That’s not how it works.
1
They asked. Your Jesus sent Trump and demons in black robes to promote guns and subdue women.
1
If you think that’s what happened then you’re dumber than your mother hoped you’d be.
1
@MrJames1471 And that vote was based on the fact that Roe v.Wade was securing that right nationally.
1
@JJ3nkins89 No. The Constitution outlines how the government works and what base rights shall not be infringed, but that’s exactly what the SCOTUS has just done.
1
@a-rat-in-your-walls I think that’s the whole GOP point. Arm the white hicks down south, make sure women are covered up and can’t work/go to school, and make their religion create laws… or is that the Taliban? I can’t really tell them apart anymore.
1
@JJ3nkins89 The 8th Amendment.
1
Why does the Taliban stop women from working or going to school?
1
@leetningvancleenf5843 What life? The SCOTUS says life starts at month 7, still.
1
@xulula7035 But you and your AR-15s love murder… or is that only of brown folks?
1
@dark_rit First, stop using terms like zygote with people who were home-schooled by religious zealots. You won’t gain any traction with them using “devil’s science words.” Just use firearms terminology… or maybe tactical knives. Those are pro-(white)-life.
1
Except it was voted on while Roe v. Wade was still in action, so automatically unlawful if it was about making abortion illegal. Of course it wasn’t, which is why it was actually up for a vote. Now that Roe v. Wade is stricken, the vote will be VERY different. No more Taliban rule in this country!
1
It’s the return of the Civil War, because the lynching religious ultra-radical WASPs have never changed their views.
1
@Wait What It’s not about the legal doctrine of a case. It’s about a simple right vs. wrong. While Roe v. Wade was less than cut and dry legally, the issue of respecting humans’ rights to healthcare decisions that don’t impact the society or the state is the governing one. A democracy is only as good as its protections of the minority against the will of the majority.
1
All a part of the GOP plan.
