Kia made a terrible decision by not offering the hatchback. That sedan is just weird and the trunk opening is insanely small.

Steven L. these are long-term reviews, which are A LOT more useful than reviews of cars that have been tested for a few hours. To cram 2 years’ worth of info into 3 minutes is a waste of effort. If no one wants to view these reviews, then why do them at all?

Kevan Borges All of that can be had with a Rav4 Hybrid, but with almost twice the fuel economy and for a lower price.

Oh yeah... that exterior is exciting... so is the engine and transmission. 😂

Troll

Donovique Castillo yeah... on the highway, down a hill, in neutral, with the engine turned off.

Alan Bowers That’s what they have in Europe now.

BurnDuration Looser?

db60615 That really isn’t an accurate number because it depends on a short drive starting with a full battery. On an empty battery, the combined fuel economy becomes 25mpg, which means that for long trips, you will see a number close to the latter.
2
Hector Bedolla Do you not read? When out of battery juice and driving on gasoline only, the Outlander gets 25mph as tested by multiple online reviewers. Also, the engine only charges the battery if you have the CHARGE button pressed, which strains the main engine, so owners recommend doing it on a nice leveled highway only.
2
Hector Bedolla You can drain it. The way a lithium-ion battery is drained is that it will ALWAYS leaves an unusable reserve. That’s so that the battery never reaches a zero percent charge, which is likely to destroy the battery. As soon as the battery drains all its usable energy, in the Outlander, it switches to the ICE engine alone, unless you press the “charge” button. You clearly know nothing about the Outlander.

Rohit tammineedi Both are made in Europe.

- Nothing to fix. You’re a troll, which is why you have no screenname.
2
Kamukix I believe it’s called “trolling.”
2
Daniel Gross Those exist across the country.

Will you at some point consider what region of the world you’re in versus what region the car review is in? Cars differ around the world.

Would love to read that study. Can’t find it through Google.

The Outback is considerably larger.

There is in Canada. Different color license plates. Like in Ontario, normal plates have blue alpha-numeric characters, but “green” vehicles get green characters.

ZedZedski While comfort is subjective, the CR-V literally has the largest trunk in the segment, bu the numbers.
1
In reality, both suck at what they are trying to be. Neither is a particularly good sports car, nor practical/comfortable enough to be a daily driver. That’s why very few sell.

There is no GT model.
1
B HM in 2016, only the Toyota Corolla had standard LED headlamps. Even Audi and Mercedes offered them as an expensive option.
1
A D Yes, the Corolla was the first model in North America to offer standard LED headlamps on the 2014 model. Luxury brands are more focused i. optional customization and economy brands are more focused on value competition. You’ll also find many active safety features standard on GM, Toyota, Honda, etc. that are optional on Range Rover, Mercedes and BMW models. They offer you what you want, a-la carte, so you pay for what you want, but not what you don’t. Luxury buyers want that. Economy buyers want everything packaged, as much as possible. It’s consumer psychology.

A family would do much better with a Tiguan and a GTI in the garage than 2 Alltracks.
1
@ I believe the EV6 is a bit larger and more expensive than this compact.
1
Or BMW or Mercedes or FCA (they all got caught doing that same thing in 2018).
1
smalltalk.productions You should look up the definition of “trolling.”

Alejandro_GT_Lancer Wrong. That’s only if you calculate using a short, 50 mile drive. Then, the longer your drive is without charging, the closer you will get to 25mpg... and quickly. The way you figure out the honest MPG rating is by depleting the battery and then seeing what MPGs you get as the car runs like a true hybrid.
1
That’s because of their trash JATCO CVT.

B Lowe It’s older than 6 years
