  1. No. Prigozhin wasn’t considered an actual threat (and he wasn’t one). Putin simply saw that Ukraine wasn’t politically interested in or “allowed” to invade Russia by limits in Western weapons systems. Once those limits were relaxed, Zelensky obviously felt that it was time and Putin underestimated him.

  2. Part of the rotation is the fact that they have no logistics trains for their advance parties. They bring in their own ammo, weapons, fuel, food and water for 48 hours and then rotate back.

  5.  @brandenburg2388  1. They’re not landlocked. They have access to the Black Sea, actually, Moldova’s only access to the Black Sea. 2. Their border with Ukraine was closed a while ago, at least for transiting goods. Moldova insists that only it can control imports and exports in the region.
