  2. The flight crew doesn't throw people off the plane. Only one member of the crew has that legal authority and that's the Captain. It is ALWAYS the Captain's call.

  4. They have NOT been approved by the FAA. They simply haven't been banned by the FAA. Those two things are COMPLETELY different. You can't ban something unless you can show how it is a safety issue. Approval by the FAA means it's endorsed and recommended.
