  1.  @jeffwisener1378  I disagree. Perhaps you’re not aware of what civics classes taught yourself? The basic concept of civics is understanding the concept of representative democracy and that sometimes you may be a deciding majority and sometimes you may be a minority (politically). These people VERY clearly lack that extremely rudimentary concept and if you have ever lived a day in the American south, you’d know that these concepts were NOT taught to the Baby Boomer generation, nor to the ones that followed.

  3.  @allendean9807  I wasn’t talking about me. Democracy, because it’s only supported by the will of the people - it’s how it works, needs participation and acceptance of the people. When the electorate itself no longer trusts it, it will move on to a simpler concept of rule. Study history and you’ll know what I’m talking about. This is why democracy is so difficult to keep up and why it’s now a very trying time. We have a large chunk of population who no longer have faith in it, and a large chunk who are about to. When you say, “proven to work”, what you don’t understand is that that isn’t a thing. Democracy is NEVER proven to work. It’s as subjective of a faith as a religion. For many classes in this country democracy has NEVER worked at all. It, much like our mighty dollar, relies solely on people’s faith to work.

  4.  @capncrunch9053  Extremely sad, actually. Yes, you and people like you, but I don’t think or believe it. I know it for a fact, the same way I know the Nazis were the doom of Germany. The best part is that I’m not at all the left or the right. I’m an independent and a centrist. I just know a sociopathic extremist when I see one. Spent a lot of time fighting them.

  5. When people stop wanting to vote because they don’t believe in the system they don’t stop wanting change. They start looking at other ways of getting that change. That’s what this video is about: civil war. The only way democracy works is if ALL believe in it.
