  6.  @xanderq  No, Peskov wasn’t questioning anything. Peskov just suggested everyone should question info on both sides, but that’s neither here nor there. He didn’t deny there was a morale problem and that in itself is a confirmation.

The Russian military will be quite devastated after this war, having sustained major losses among their professional (vs. conscript) force, having lost serious quantities of equipment and having such a big blow to their ego. I would not be surprised if Georgia tried to get their occupied territories back right now. It will take many decades for Russia to rebuild themselves back up, especially if Putin’s party continues to be in power.
