Eleventh Monkey Gaming Except in this case victims are also the perpetrators and should be blamed. This alley is CLEARLY unsafe for even 1,000 people to be there. These morons went into a crowd well above 100 times that. Why? They were all high, drunk and stupid. That’s literally THEIR fault. No one directed them to go there. No one, but them started the panic or the pushing. No one except them could have stopped it either.

It’s an absolute tragedy for sure, but I can’t help to think this is also Darwinism at work. To go to a place like that that’s so obviously overcrowded at 1000 people when there are over 100 times that takes a clear lack of intelligence. Hopefully those who did survive learned a valuable lesson.

In charge of what? Adults making horrible decisions? How about adults being in charge of themselves?

@gloryakiepper7918 There were crowd protocols in place, but there’s nothing a city police department can do against crowds that big in places that small unless it’s a riot, where the police don’t care if people hurt themselves. This was a peaceful gathering in a democratic country and it swelled up into record numbers extremely quickly because young people share it all on social media. Don’t blame the police here. This is all on the idiots gathering into a mob.

@LilyGazou So all the witnesses be damned, we’ll only trust cameras?

@wishkang5839 The control people have is not to get into these crowds in the first place. You’re supposed to have a higher IQ than manhaden!

@wishkang5839 Nope… never in a crowd. Not even professionally as I literally work in incident management. 😉 I wouldn’t know what I’m talking at all since I have two degrees and many, many years in incident command. How about this… I’ll go into a crowd when you manage to graduate college. Deal?

@wishkang5839 There are TONS of interviews with people who were there!!!

@wishkang5839 Then stop trolling.

@bdcmxsyjds8935 Police departments don’t exist to herd people like sheep. They don’t exist to make decisions for you. They enforce laws. No laws were broken. This was a simple case of a mob of stupid, drunk and high young people doing moronic things despite a clearly dangerous situation. God himself couldn’t have stopped them.

There was no crowd surge. There were simply 20x more people there than in the past because social media, Covid, etc. Young people are morons these days. The alley, even with 1,000 is visibly unsafe to be in. To have over 100k people in there you really have to question if they were all suicidal.
