@Pantifaximile so your logic is to take from working families via tax and give to those that refuse to work? The cap is only on those that are on benefits. Families in full time work paid under £60,000 still get it as they are paying into the system. You do know that right??

@jake751 Thatcher was the best prime minister this nation saw!! She took us from penny spenders to having millionaires!! She cut funding for work and education in cities (famously Liverpool) that refused to work!! The unions were killing industries like mining, she set out a wage structure (basic minimum wage) that nearly doubled what anyone had before!! The nation got lazy after the war and Labour literally kept Brits on the dole and imported workers Windrush, Chinese Indians and Pakistanis!! She got purple back into work, no other prime minister has ever done what she did!! Let's not forget the housing crisis? You know when she built record houses and pointed out in Labour councils there were houses sat empty so cut funding for them said councils (famously Liverpool again) until the empty houses were filled. For 50 years before her no one was buying houses or cars because no one had any money!! She gave you the freedoms you have today, labour gave everyone a false sense of freedom! She mocked her opposition that wanted everything including the NHS state owned by members of government... "My honourable gentleman spoke too his constituency Mr speaker and said, You want to buy your own home? That's very selfish of you, you want to keep the majority of your wages? That's totally unkind" The only reason people hated her was because they had no responsibility and didn't want it!! Why would she want to own hundreds of homes and have to maintain them when we could own our own homes??? She brought the cost of living down by a third and did weekly budget for a few months where she famously brought a week's shop and showed it to the nation. What did Blair and brown do? Crashed the economy, started a needless war and killed millions ... But you keep listening to the media that tells you Starmers going to be great... Not like he's been promised that job for keeping their name out of the Savile enquiry
