  1. I think theres a lot of confusion regarding opportunity in the trades. While six-figures is certainly possible (ive seen it many times). Its not the norm. You can check out labor stats. Depending on the trade, you may be looking at the top 10-20% that break 6 figures. The cost of living and taxes vary pretty dramatically state to state. The point is youve got to look at all these factors take risks and play smart. College is to a large extent a scam that puts you in debt and lines the pockets of “educators” and administrators without stable prospects or longterm security in most fields.

  2. I saw the scam when I was in college 20years ago! This is obvious. Corp News media is way behind, as always. They tried to keep this broken system going as long as possible Now they are forced to acknowledge the pushback. 6 figures, company dropped degree requirement pushed DEI. Theres no reason to saddle yourself with debt then be replaced with AI women or minorities. If you are a minority you also need to be on top of the changing landscape and realize you are being played as a pawn.
